Sales Specialist (Part Time Position)

Pets Global, Inc is a holistic wellness company founded on a passion for animal welfare.  With our brands Zignature and Fussie Cat, we strive to not only help pets to live longer, healthier lives, but also enrich the lives of their owners by caring for the nutrition their pets are offered.  We are seeking a self-motivated, fun, outgoing personality that loves animals and values pet nutrition! The ideal candidate for our Sales Specialist position will visit stores that carry our products, to ensure our brands are properly pushed and advertised, by performing the following duties.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Part-Time, Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE

Friday through Sunday, no more than 24 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Present the company’s products or services, including the explanation of products, methods, or services in order to persuade customers to purchase products or utilize services.
  • Identify interested and qualified customers in order to provide them with additional information.
  • Provide product samples, coupons, informational brochures, and other incentives to persuade people to buy products.
  • Suggest specific product purchases to meet customers’ needs.
  • Record and report demonstration-related information such as the number of questions asked by the audience and the number of coupons distributed.
  • Learn about competitors’ products and consumers’ interests and concerns in order to answer questions and provide more complete information.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Reliable Vehicle: Mileage will be paid at the IRS 2018 rate of 54.5 cents per mile for business miles driven.
  • Strong knowledge of Pets Global, Inc. products and philosophy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English Competency).
  • Ability to work well under pressure while still maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and multi task
  • Ability to prioritize and work both independently and in a team environment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Pet industry experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Some college or expanded training in Merchandising, Sales, Marketing or relevant field is preferred.

Marketing Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Marketing Coordinator within the organization. The Marketing Coordinator will act as the liaison between Pets Global, Inc. and our Digital Marketing and Public Relations contacts. This position is responsible for coordinating projects and activities for marketing purposes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Assists in executing marketing strategies and objectives.
    • Assists in proposal writing and presentations, including online and video.
    • Maintains marketing database including catalogs, key codes, and customer/prospect files.
    • Produces regularly scheduled reports from marketing database.
    • Coordinates various marketing fulfillment duties and systems including direct mail, packages, letters, catalogs, and other sales literature.
    • Assists with newsletter, direct mail, advertising, and catalog editing and proofreading.
    • Assists in implementing public relations programs, online events, and trade shows.
    • Coordinates involvement in community organizations and events, including speech writing assistance.
    • Assists with ad contracts and placement.
    • Assists with new market research and design.
    • Conducts customer surveys to obtain marketing information about organization products and services.
    • Coordinate digital media sharing between our company and digital marketing companies per management’s direction.
    • Assists with and coordinates digitial marketing and public relations interviews per management’s directions.
    • Attend digital marketing and public relation meetings.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    • Basic graphic design knowledge, and social media knowledge.
    • Basic/Intermediate Skills in Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator; Premiere; After Effects.
    • Has experience working with SEOs.
    • Familiarity working with different Web Platforms.
    • Ability to successfully collaborate with all internal and external partners.
    • Professional writing skills are a must.
    • Detail-oriented with outstanding organization, communication, time management and project management skills.
    • Creative thinker and team player.
    • Demonstrated success and comfort in working in a very fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and interact with all levels of management.

    • 5-6 Years related experience.

Accounting Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Accounting Supervisor within the organization. The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the accounting department and the staff. The use of discretion, confidentiality and independent judgement is critical in all aspects to the work performed within this position.

    • Monitors accounting control and procedures.
    • Supervise monthly accounting close cycle.

    • Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops accounting staff; reviews schedules and workflow.

Accounting Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the Accounting Manager position within the organization. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day to day operations, management and coordination of all activities and operations within the accounting department and concerning the accounting department’s staff. The use of discretion, confidentiality and independent judgement is critical in all aspects to the work performed within this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Cash collection. Proactively work open receivables to facilitate payment within terms and to encourage customers to take advantage of early payment discounts. Communicate with the customer’s financial management and build a rapport, which can be leveraged to collect amounts due in a timely manner. Alert senior management when accounts are not paying within terms.
    • Cash management; prepares current cash requirements, ACH requests, daily bank reconciliation and forecasts future cash requirements.
    • Liaison between the sales force, human resources and accounting with respect to expense and mileage reimbursements
    • Payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations
    • Monthly credit card reconciliations
    • Develops, implements, and monitors systems for general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and collections.
    • Reviews and analyzes the organization’s accounting operation; establishes, develops, and/or recommends economic objectives and policies to management.
    • Prepares and analyzes financial and operational reports; prepares reports required by regulatory agencies, banks, investors, and other external parties.
    • Coordinates preparation of accounting department budgets and forecasts. Maintains and manages department budget reporting variances to management monthly.
    • Manages monthly accounting close cycle and assists with annual accounting close.
    • Responsible for maintaining a complete set of accounting records for the company, including fixed assets (invoice copies), vehicle titles, loan documents, journal entries, depreciation schedules.
    • Installs, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
    • Analyzes, reviews, and audits overall general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and billings systems, including monthly accounts payable expense postings.
    • Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops accounting staff; manages schedules and workflow.
    • Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
    • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Remote Independent Contractor to provide graphic design, print preparation, and archiving of marketing collateral including but not limited to brochures, advertising, website materials, posters, packaging, various sales materials and logos for all products and services.
    • Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
    • Manages projects from conceptualization to production, including but not limited to consulting with client and management to determine scope of project, developing sample layouts for approval, interfacing with outside vendors, presenting samples for approval, and preparing final layout for production.
    • Assures quality of final product before release.
    • Maintains high level of knowledge and skill with all computer software related to the design and production of print materials.
    • Assists with strategizing, designing, and producing visual communications.
