Positions Available

Human Resources Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Human Resources Manager within the organization. This position is primarily responsible for managing the Human Resources department as a whole, to be fully independent, hands-on and able to handle all aspects of Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits. This will be accomplished by performing the following duties personally and/or through subordinate employees.

  • Promote positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies & procedures, programs and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
  • Manage and oversee company recruiting and hiring including: job descriptions, job postings, resume searches, resume reviews, interviews (phone and face to face), reference and background checks and facilitating the offer process and new hire onboarding.
  • Oversees employee activities and programs including but not limited to: new employee orientation, training programs, personal and career development.
  • Manage and streamline documentation retention strategies, performance appraisal and succession planning processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to partners and managers in coaching employees.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local, state and federal laws; train and counsel employees regarding company policy and procedure.
  • Handle workers compensation cases in coordination with company’s insurance carriers.
  • Handle internal employee investigations in coordination with company’s counsel.
  • Conduct and/or mediate employee counseling, performance improvement plans and terminations.
  • Coordinate exit interview process and communication of findings to management.
  • Manage and oversee company payroll, including but not limited to ensuring payroll is completed accurately, on time and in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Manage employee benefits program, including but not limited to audit and approval of benefit plans for Open Enrollment, onboarding of new employee benefits, assistance with life status changes, relaying COBRA information as needed.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent required.
  • Five to Eight years in Human Resources or related experience required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification required.
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
  • Familiarity with ADP Totalsource, Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information.
  • Commitment to excellence, high standards and ethical values.
  • Strong judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Human Resources Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to fill the position of Human Resources Coordinator within our organization. The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of essential tasks such as staffing, payroll, benefits, training and development, will report directly to Human Resources Manager, and assist with the administration of a fully functional Human Resources department. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual that wants to further their career in Human Resources or wants to come back to Human Resources after being away for some time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
  • Assist in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Processes, including administering applications, completing reference checks, resume review, preparing offer letters, etc.
  • Assist with Employee On-Boarding, including New Hire paperwork, equipment, orientation.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR issues and problems – will be first point of contact for all employee HR related questions or concerns.
  • Help Administer and Process Payroll (Semi-Monthly) by reviewing time clock punches, entering PTO Requests and Missed Punch Log, Data Entry etc.
  • Maintenance of HR files, supply closet, equipment, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience is required.
  • Certificate or Degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus but not necessary.
  • Good understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Strong aptitude for problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English Competency).
  • Strong aptitude for learning and mastering new databases.
  • Ensure accuracy in system and reporting entry.
